The project is located at Vas. Olgas street in Thessaloniki, Greece.
This project involves the interior renovation of a small apartment, focusing solely on the kitchen and bathroom. Guided by the principles of simplicity, warmth and clarity, the design aims to create a welcoming and light interior that enhances everyday living. Although the scale of the renovation is modest, the transformation is thoughtful and precise, bringing a renewed sense of comfort and calm to the home.
The kitchen embraces a modern aesthetic defined by smooth surfaces, soft pastel tones and a clean, uncluttered expression. Green hues applied across cabinetry, introducing a gentle freshness that brightens the space without overwhelming it. A wooden worktop becomes the central natural element of the design. Its warm texture contrasts beautifully with the green palette, creating a balanced composition that feels both inviting and practical. The overall result is a kitchen that feels soft and bright, an uplifting space for daily use.
In the bathroom, the design continues the language of lightness and warmth. A palette of soft neutrals and warm earthy tones forms a serene and grounded environment. Light-colored surfaces help reflect natural and artificial light, making the room feel more open and airy. Wooden furniture, whether through a vanity or storage elements, introduces natural warmth and texture. This combination of earthy tones and wood brings a welcoming, spa-like character, while still maintaining a modern simplicity. Every detail is considered to keep the space visually light, comfortable and free of unnecessary ornamentation.
Across both spaces, the project emphasizes clarity, simplicity, and a gentle modern sensibility. The use of soft colors and natural materials contributes to an interior that feels harmonious and effortless. Even within a small apartment, the renovation creates a sense of openness and calm, an environment that supports a relaxed and pleasant daily life. Through this approach, the apartment is transformed into a light and welcoming home, where simplicity becomes the foundation of comfort and contemporary living.
